See How We Make Our Pizzas!

You will need:

  • 1 X Frying Pan pizza kit
  • 1 X Medium-large sized frying pan (preferably non-stick)
  • A grill

Method:

  • Start by gathering all of your equipment/ingredients and preheating your grill to its maximum temperature
  • Tip out the pot of flour onto a clean worksurface (it may not look like much but it is plenty! Too much flour will cause your pizza to burn)
  • Remove the first dough ball from the pot using your hands to scoop it out
  • Place the dough ball onto the flour and lightly flour either side of the dough ball
  • Using your index, middle and fourth finger on each hand gently push down on your dough being careful to leave a crust
  • Pick up the dough and stretch it to the size of your frying pan. Do this by gently moving it across your hands/knuckles (see video above as an example) If you struggle with this you can always use a rolling pin however, you’ll lose the nice puffy crusty
  • Preheat the pan on a high heat- there is no need to oil the pan
  • Transfer the base to the frying pan and adjust base to fit pan
  • Add half the tomato sauce, Parmesan and Basil leaves and leave to cook for a few minutes until the bottom of the base has become golden/brown and the crust has started to rise (couple of minutes)
  • Add the Mozzarella and a light dripping of olive oil over your pizza and place under the grill
  • Cook under the grill until the crust has taken on a nice brown/golden colour and mozzarella has fully melted (should take another couple of minutes)
  • Remove pizza from grill and enjoy an authentic Italian Pizza from the comfort of your very home!
